About Energy drink, RED BULL, sugar free, with added caffeine, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamins B6 and B12

This is the sugar-free version of a caffeinated energy drink (the Red Bull style), sweetened with low-calorie sweeteners instead of sugar. It keeps the same caffeine kick and added B vitamins as the regular drink but strips out the roughly 27 grams of sugar a standard can would carry, leaving a near-zero-calorie beverage.

Per 100 grams it provides about 5 calories, essentially no sugar, and around 30 milligrams of caffeine, with about 39 milligrams of sodium and added niacin, pantothenic acid and vitamins B6 and B12. A standard 8.4-ounce can (about 250 grams) therefore delivers roughly 12 calories and about 75 milligrams of caffeine — comparable to a small cup of coffee — along with a day's worth or more of several B vitamins.

Going sugar-free removes the main drawback of regular energy drinks, the sugar, but the caffeine is the active ingredient and still adds up: most guidance suggests keeping total daily caffeine to about 400 milligrams for healthy adults, and energy drinks are not recommended for children, teenagers, or during pregnancy. The added B vitamins are already plentiful in a normal diet, so the real reason people reach for these is the caffeine.
