This Privacy Policy explains how FoodNutri ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit foodnutri.com (the "Site"). FoodNutri is a free nutrition-reference website. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not ask you to provide personal information to browse nutrition data.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

Information you give us
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and our third-party providers automatically record certain technical information when you visit, which may include your IP address, browser type and settings, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. This data is used in aggregate to operate, secure and improve the Site.
Information stored on your device
We store a small amount of data locally in your browser (via localStorage, not cookies) to remember your light/dark theme preference. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Data retention & security
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, then delete them. Aggregated analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's settings. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Some of our providers (such as Google) may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
Children's privacy
FoodNutri is a general-audience educational site and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
